Facebook renames the parent company as Meta Platforms Inc.

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook Inc, has announced that the new name for the company is Meta Platforms Inc or Meta.

The new name represents its dedication to constructing the immersive digital environment known as the metaverse.

Mark has defined the metaverse as a “virtual environment” that you may enter rather than simply seeing on a screen.

People may use virtual reality headsets, augmented reality glasses, smartphone applications, and other gadgets to meet, work, and play.

Moreover, the iconic thumbs-up sign outside Facebook’s Headquarters has been changed to resemble a blue infinity symbol.

Archaeologists in southern Mexico unearthed a Mayan wooden canoe, thought to be over 1,000 years old.

They discovered it nearly unbroken in a freshwater lake near the ancient Mayan city of Chichen Itza, measuring over 5ft.

Furthermore, Archaeologists unearthed ceramic pieces, a ritual knife, and painted murals in a cenote.

According to the statement, experts from Paris’ Sorbonne University supported determining the canoe’s exact age and kind. Additionally, the experts are creating a 3D model of it for future research.

The researchers say that the Mayans ruled today’s Mexico, Guatemala, Belize and Honduras during the Mayan civilization.


A new hidden underworld discovered by scientists in the University of Bristol

Scientists have uncovered an entirely new secret world beneath the Earth’s surface. According to a recent study, the Earth’s core contains an unknown underworld known as ‘Pataal Lok’ in Hindi.

Jessica Irving, a seismologist from the University of Bristol, emphasised that the more we examine the Earth’s deep core, the more we get newer findings.

Moreover, scientists believe that having a better knowledge of the inner core will provide them with a better understanding of the link between a planet’s interior and its magnetic behaviour.

Tamil Nadu Day will be celebrated on July 18: MK Stalin

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, MK Stalin declared July 18 as Tamil Nadu Day on 30th October.

The former Edappadi K Palaniswami-led AIADMK administration declared November 1 as Tamil Nadu Day in 2019.
