Ain Dubai or Dubai Eye: World’s Tallest Observation Wheel is now in Dubai
Ain Dubai, or the Dubai Eye, the world’s largest and highest observation wheel, has officially opened its doors to the viewing public.
On October 21, Dubai’s much-anticipated amusement centre had opened with a two-day opening spectacle.
Apart from the inauguration ceremony, the prime attraction of the event was Dubai’s Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum entry in the introductory video.
Ain Dubai, or the Dubai Eye, is almost twice the height of the London Eye, standing at 820 feet. Finally, one can enjoy the magnificent views of Dubai’s skyline from here.
Moreover, the colossal wheel has 48 capsules that can hold 1750 guests. Each cycle lasts around 38 minutes.
New regulations may have an impact on electricity infrastructure work
Tangedco recently published a circular substantially changing the financial powers for taking on substation construction, establishing transformers, and acquiring goods and services.
According to a senior official from the Chennai region’s Operation and Maintenance department, the tender rates for Chief Engineers to ₹1crore from ₹3crores for works contracts.

Although, it was reasonable that the change made was because of the department’s terrible financial situation. At least the exceptions should be granted for the Chennai region.
Central Vista Redevelopment Project: L&T acquires the contract for constructing 3 new buildings in the complex
The infrastructure firm Larsen & Toubro Limited has received the contract for the construction and maintenance of the first three buildings of the Common Central Secretariat.
Larsen & Toubro Limited reported a rate of approximately ₹3,141 crores. That is 3.47 per cent less than the budgeted value.
Furthermore, the three new buildings for the Common Central Secretariat will be replacing the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts.
Delhi-Mumbai Expressway: A part of the first phase of the Bharatmala Project
The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, developed as part of the Bharatmala Project, has expected to complete in March 2023.
Indian Union Minister Nitin Gadkari stated that the expressway would get a toll income of around ₹1,000 to ₹1,500 crores per month.
The eight-lane highway runs through Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat.
Thus, this project can reduce the travelling time to 12 hours between the national capital and the country’s financial centre.
PM Ayushman Bharat Healthcare Infrastructure Mission
PM Narendra Modi launched the PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, intending to fill three critical gaps in India’s public health system.
They are expanding treatment facilities, establishing Integrated Public Health labs for disease diagnosis, and expanding existing pandemic research institutions.
PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission has been the largest pan-India scheme for building and upgrading long-term public healthcare infrastructure.
Moreover, from FY21-22 to FY25-26, the government would spend ₹64,180 crores on the project.
