Tamil Nadu government proposed and constructed a major multi-modal transportation hub in Chennai central and named the project Chennai central square. Project Plan

The entire Central square project costs around 400 crore rupees. Chennai central square houses an underground parking facility in a three-storied structure to have room for thousands of cars at a time, and this has expected to solve the parking problems for people coming to this square complex of the city. L & T Geostructure have given the contract to construct the parking structure. Central Square plans to construct a 33-story building above the underground parking structure called Central Plaza. Airports Authority of India (AAI) already provided no-objection certificates to the 33-storied building. Inauguration

Indian state Tamil Nadu’s Cheif Minister M.K.Stalin inaugurated the iconic newly transformed landmark of Chennai city on 31st March 2022.
