Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a trending Japanese manga series adapted into an anime. Koyoharu Gotouge wrote and illustrated the above-mentioned world’s trending manga. This demonic anime contains two seasons, which consists of 26 episodes in the first. A sequel movie continued with the second season. The anime has a total runtime of nearly 10 hours. Most Powerful Demons in Season One of Demon Slayer

NEZUKO KAMADO – The Demon Girl
Nezuko Kamado is the second most important character to the protagonist Tanjiro Kamado, who is a demon. She is the younger sister of Tanjiro Kamado and one of the two remaining members of the Kamado family. The female Kamado was a kind and caring human girl who always cares more about the family than herself. Suddenly, at midnight a demon attacked their family and killed everyone in the house while Tanjiro Kamado went shopping for the New Year Celebration. After his return, he finds only her sister was alive but turned into a demon.
After the transformation into a demon, she loses her memory and human nature. If a human turns into a demon creature, it tries to eat the human or attempts to bite in the exposure to human blood. But, she developed strong willpower not to harm humans and be protective of humans due to the influence of Sakonji Urokodaki while her on sleep for two years during her elder brother’s Demon Slayer training.
The demon kamado is undoubtedly a different demon when compared to other demons because she controlled her consciousness to protect humans though she was a demon. After the transformation of Nezuko into a monster, she couldn’t control herself and tried to bite his elder brother. With the help of a bamboo muzzle given by one of the Hashira’s Giyu Tomioka. She helped her elder brother on many occasions during his undeniable death with her supernatural abilities. Nezuko can change her body’s size and weight.

RUI – Lower Rank Kizuki
Rui is one of the Twelve Kizuki (Twelve Demon Moons) holding the position of Lower Rank 5 and the primary antagonist in the anime series Natagumo Mountain Arc of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He has the appearance of a young boy and can create a strong web of threads. Natagumo Mountain Kizuki ruled the Mountain and slaughtered many Demon Slayers, who were sent by Demon Slayer Corps to stop him. He was born with a weak, puny and highly depressed human body with difficulty breathing and walking.
So, one-day Demon Lord Muzan Kibutsuji came to his home and convinced his parents to give him some demonic powers to increase his vitality and endurance of the body. This transformed him into a demon, possessed of human flesh to consume and ate a man in his house. This scene made his parents decide to kill him and kill themselves to prevent him from further not killing anyone in the future. But he identified his father’s attempt to kill him and killed both his parents, whom he loved the most.
Defeat of Rui
Rui is a pretty calm boy who is eagerly wanted some members to pretend like a family by giving them demonic powers when they are in a desperate situation. Rui captivated many demons and gave them roles as family members. In that family, he had a family of Spider Demon Father, Mother, Brother, Elder Sister, three unnamed fake sisters; and a brother. Once, he gave a lone female demon his powers when she was running for life from a group of Demon Slayers. Rui slaughtered all Demon Slayers on her sight and officially acknowledged her as his older sister in his Spider Family. Rui agreed to give her demonic powers after her acceptance to do everything he says.
During the mission given to the Demon Slayer Corps, sent nine Demon Slayers to kill the demon living in the Natagumo Mountain Arc. But, Rui and his captives have a distinct ability to the web with the help of spiders, and use them as his puppets. With the help of strings connected to the Demon Slayers, they started killing each other. There was only one survivor among the nine demon slayers, who was named Murato.
Tanjiro Kamado and his mates, Zenistsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira, have given instructions to inspect and kill the demon in the mountain arc. Rui’s Blood Demon Art is to create highly durable steel threads that have the strength to break Tanjiro’s Nichirin Blade. But with the help of Giyu Tomioka, Lower Rank Five Demon was easily deceased.
TAMAYO – Healer
Tamayo was the fugitive of Muzan Kibutsuji, The Demon Lord and skilled healer. She was living for more than five centuries but had the physical appearance of a 19-year-old girl. The demon was in the form of a beautiful woman with large, pleading eyes and a floral hairpin in her low bun hairstyle. She was beside Muzan, her Former Master of hers, when they fought against Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the legendary Demon Slayer during the Sengoku Era. She was almost killed by Yoriichi by sparing her life. This incident caused her to find the medicine to cure the demons back to humans.
Tamayo is a highly intellectual person who dedicated her life to researching to produce the antidote for demon transformation. Similarly, Nezuko Kamado has turned friendly towards humans; she also showed kindness though she is a demon. Even a drop of Marechi’s body blood won’t trigger her to bite humans. She helped the Demon Slayer, Tanjiro Kamado, and his younger demon sister, Nezuko Kamado, heal when they were highly wounded. As she was not harming any humans, she started to buy human blood from donors to survive her life.
The Kind-Hearted Demon
Tamayo helped her assistant, Yushira, a while back, when he was in his last breath condition. Using her medical knowledge of demon anatomy, she turned him into a demon and gave him the strength to withstand his disease. She is the only one who can convert a human into a demon without Kibutsuji’s blood.
Tamayo is the one who successfully formulated the antidote for demons which makes them transform into a human. Therefore, Tanjiro Kamado helped her to collect many demons’ blood samples for research to identify the science behind the demon transformation. She had immense skills in the fields of medicine and pharmaceuticals like Insect Hashira, and Shinobu Kocho. She managed to inject the Anti-Kibutsuji drug into Muzan Kibutsuji, which affected him reduced to mere cells inside his body.
MUZAN KIBUTSUJI – The Demon Lord
Muzan Kibutsuji is the Demon Lord of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is the first demon conferring to the manga series. He is the only demon who can transform a human into a demon with a scratch. His blood gives vitality and endurance to the human body which in direct contact with sunlight obliterates them into ashes. He is the ancestor of every living demon on Earth. He appeared to be like a 20-year-old man, but chronologically he is living more than ten centuries and his body biologically more than a hundred centuries.
Backstory
A long time ago, during the Heian Period, a terminal illness have spotted on Muzan. A generous doctor gave treatment where the medicine has a vital ingredient taken from a mythical flower, Blue Spider Lily. Though that treatment cured his sickness, he turned into a demon. As the fear of death bothered him a lot, his main goal was to gain immortality. So, he acquired it by demon transformation. Even though he turned into a demon and gained immortality, he is volatile to direct sunlight and vulnerable to Demon Slayer’s Nichirin Blades. So, he had an extinction fear of his ancestry, thus forcing him to create more demons among the world.
Physical Appearance
Muzan Kibutsuji portrays himself as a family man, with a wife named Tsukihiko and a child named Toshikuni. His physical appearance is a man with a black tuxedo and white hat with a black band around it over his head. He is the Leader of Twelve Kizuki (Twelve Demon Moons). And, the base of operation is in Infinity Castle shown in the last episode of the anime series. Upon creating the demons, he imposes a fatal curse on them. The curse activates and annihilates the demons into ashes when they reveal any information about the Demon Lord.
But, somehow, Tamayo breaks Kibutsuji’s curse by changing her body. Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the 97th Leader of Demon Slayer Corps, also has a curse because there is a connection between Kibutsuji Family and Ubuyashiki Family long ago. There is another curse where the male generations from the Ubuyashiki family will no longer live more than thirty.
True Power of Demon Lord
In episode 8 of the anime series, Kibutsuji’s eyes have filled with fear due to a flashback playing in his mind. The Legendary Demon Slayer with Hanufada earrings, Yoriichi Tsugikuni, who defeated him centuries ago, spared Kibutsuji’s life because of the fear in his eyes. Tanjiro Kamado wore the same hanafuda earrings, Yoriichi had. This frightened him and he ordered Yahaba and Susamaru to kill Tanjiro. But, Tanjiro managed to kill them both that making Muzan even more terrified. He has many special abilities, and one of them is shapeshifting. In the last episode of the anime series, he changed his body into a middle-aged woman with long black yukata.
The God of Demons can create and destroy demons. As Rui failed to kill Tanjiro, he set up a meeting and killed the Lower Ranks Demons. Still, now, Muzan Kibutsuji’s real potential is not clear from the anime series. But the power of Tanjiro Kamado is too inefficient even for making him drop a drib of blood.
