Tata IPL 2022: MI vs CSK – Dhoni finishes off in style; CSK wins by 3 wickets

MS Dhoni astonishingly made the Chennai Super Kings to defeat Mumbai Indians by three wickets. Once again, he proved that he is one of the best finishers in the world.

On the penultimate ball, CSK chased down the mark of 156, with MS Dhoni striking the winning runs and staying not out on 28.

CSK’s Ambati Rayudu top-scored with a 35-ball 40, while Robin Uthappa contributed with a 30.

Tilak Varma top-scored for Mumbai Indians with 51 not out from 43 balls. While Suryakumar Yadav chipped in with a 21-ball 32.

Mukesh Choudhary claimed three wickets for 19 runs for CSK, while Dwayne Bravo took two. Mukesh Choudhary scythed through the top order of the Mumbai Indians to dismiss Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan for ducks in the powerplay.

Then, he took the wicket of Dewald Brevis for seven runs, reducing Mumbai to 23/3 after three overs.

Tilak Varma, a youngster, scored a stunning half-century to save Mumbai from a hazardous situation.

Mumbai reached 155/7 in 20 overs because of Varma’s fighting 51.

Disney Pixar’s Lightyear new trailer is now available in YouTube

A new trailer for Pixar’s next film Lightyear is now available. The Angus MacLane-directed film is a spinoff of Pixar’s Toy Story series and tells the origin story of Buzz Lightyear.

The character first originally debuted in the 1995 film, Toy Story, the first Pixar production.

So far, In the Toy Story films, Tim Allen has voiced the character. Now, in Lightyear, Chris Evans takes over.

The latest teaser for the film reveals that it will not only be a trip beyond space, but it will also explore time-travel.

Buzz is still a young Space Ranger in the movie, working for the organisation known as Star Command.

In his first Star Command test trip, he stumbles himself travelling 62 years into the future. The plot centres around his desire to return home.

Marvel Studios has released the first teaser for next feature, Thor: Love and Thunder on April 18.

Tony Awards is introducing a new ‘no-violence’ policy after the Will Smith slapping Chris Rock in Oscars

Following the outrage surrounding the slapping event involving Will Smith and Chris Rock at the Oscars, the Tony Awards have implemented a new ‘no violence’ policy ahead of their 2022 presentation.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the award show’s producers announced the new policy, which specifies how they’d treat an individual “in the case of an incident” in a letter to ticket holders.

Will Smith, 2022’s best actor winner, slapped the comedian and prese nter on the stage for making a joke about wife, Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair during the Oscars live programme.

Later, the Academy, has barred Will Smith from attending the Oscars and other associated events for the next decade.

Following the Oscars on March 27, the Tonys became the first known big award event to openly establish a new no-violence policy.

Mind-Blowing Filter Coffee Painting goes viral

Varuna Shreethar, artist cum photographer based in Chennai shared an unbelievable picture of a filter coffee in a dabarah saucer.

It is a trademark way of serving hot beverages in India for a long period of time, still in usage but in few numbers.

This vernacular style of serving shared on social media made many remember their old days sitting on a couch relaxing and sipping their coffee in a dabarah.

The picture, after looking closer shook us that it is not a real photograph but a painting.

Newspaper on a wooden table and scattered coffee beans looks so real, the camera angle and photography along with the artist’s amazing skill make the picture realistic.

The self-taught artist started drawing at the age of 2 and exhibited at age of 4. Her idea was to bring up hyperrealism with impressionism into her art, which now leads now people to mistake the painting for photography.

So real! Twitter shows likes – 48 thousand and comments in thousands, people praising and bursting the social media for her talent and artistry.
