National Film Awards 2021: Dadasaheb Phalke Award goes to Superstar Rajinikanth
Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu conferred the 67th National Film Awards on 25th October. The 67th National Film Awards had announced on 22nd March 2021.
Rajinikanth received the 51st Dadasaheb Phalke Award, while Manoj Bajpayee, Kangana Ranaut, and Dhanush received acting honours.
Mohanlal’s Malayalam period epic Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea got the Best Feature Film award. Chhichhore, starring the late Sushant Singh Rajput got the Best Hindi Film award.
India Vs Pakistan T20 World Cup: Pakistan triumphs by Ten wickets
Pakistan defeated India by ten wickets in their Super 12 clash in Dubai, claiming their first-ever victory over their rivals.
Mohammad Rizwan slammed an unbeaten 79, while Babar Azam scored an unbeaten 68.

Oscar 2022: Vignesh Shivan’s Tamil Film ‘Koozhangal’ selected for Best International Feature from India
Film Federation of India has chosen the Tamil movie Koozhangal (Pebbles), directed by Vinothraj PS, for 94th Academy Awards. Vignesh Shivan & Nayanthara produced this film.
The 15-member jury panel, led by Director Shaji N Karun, unanimously selected this film for Oscar 2022 entry.
The film goes about an alcoholic, abusive husband who tortures his wife runs off because of her suffering. So, the husband with his son starts the journey to find her and bring her back.
Indian Premier League 2022: Ahmedabad & Lucknow joins as the two new IPL teams
After the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) granted them franchise rights, Lucknow and Ahmedabad officially entered the Indian Premier League (IPL) team.
While the Kolkata-based RPSG Group paid a hefty 7,090 crore for Lucknow. CVC Capital Partners, a European equity group with broad interests in sports, won the bidding against Adani Group for Ahmedabad.
